On 15 June, the first webinar of the INSPIRenov Alliance Talks series, “Renovation Financing in Practice: Challenges and Experiences from INSPIRenov Partner Countries – Bulgaria, Hungary and Estonia”, brought together experts from Bulgaria, Hungary and Estonia to exchange practical experiences and best practices in financing energy-efficient building renovation.

The session explored the main challenges in designing sustainable financing mechanisms, the key success factors behind their implementation, and opportunities to adapt successful approaches across different national contexts.

The webinar featured Yordan Zdravkov, Project Coordinator at Cleantech Bulgaria, Adrian Balaci, Senior Expert at GESB, and Anu Sarnet, Head of International Relations and Projects at the Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations. The discussion was moderated by Andres Jaadla, Chairman of the Estonian Union of Co-operative Housing Associations.

The webinar laid the foundation for the following sessions by highlighting the importance of stronger cooperation between public and private stakeholders to accelerate residential building renovation across Europe.
