On March 13, 2026, during Architectural and Construction Week, the INSPIRenov project was presented at the panel “Renovate Your Building Now – Opportunities, Financing, and Expert Support.” The session took place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and was hosted by the Cleantech Bulgaria team.
The presentation highlighted a key challenge: 100% grant-based models are not sufficient for large-scale renovation of the building stock. INSPIRenov introduces innovative financial schemes that combine public support with private financing, aiming to create a sustainable long-term mechanism for energy-efficient renovation.
The main benefits presented included more predictable processes, reduced administrative burden for municipalities, access to additional financing, and better support for vulnerable households.
